5 Reasons you aren’t getting the results you want

You Procrastinate

Do you keep putting things off? Talk about how you want to do something and then act on it. Ignoring the situation doesn’t make it go away. Stop spending time defending your issues and take action. When you get suggestions, rather than justifying why they won’t work, see if brainstorming can help.

Spend more time actively looking for solutions and put them to work. An easy way to avoid procrastination is to try to organise your tasks in order of importance. Setting yourself dates and times to get it done! Allow yourself small rewards as motivation. Additionally, you’ll get a lot more results this way, and you’ll be happier.

Learn how to work smarter no harder

Doing the same thing over and over, even when you don’t get results? If you are not getting where you need to be, it’s a signal that it’s time to change your approach. Strategize how you can use your time more effectively. An example would be when your completing larger tasks keep your to-do list small, focusing on the important areas. There is no need to multi-task, by cutting out the small tasks and taking a few shortcuts can really help. As long as the finished product is up to a high standard there’s no need for long-winded processes.

You give up too easily

Giving up before you even get anywhere? Nothing comes easy, push for those big goals. It’s easy to get disheartened when things don’t go to plan, or when you feel as though you’re putting in your best and aren’t getting the results you want. Having patience is key. It can be completely normal for things not to work out the first time but keep going. If you want to succeed, you’ll have to fight for it.

Don't Give Up

You Avoid Problems

Do you avoid taking action because some of the things you have to do intimidate you? you would rather delay the process as much as possible. Unfortunately, results are not going to happen if you stop trying. Try to stop avoiding things that are difficult, they won’t just go away. Try not to let your fear of failing get in your way. Face your fears and do it anyway.

You loose sight of your goals.

Don’t get distracted and forget the reason you’re doing what you’re doing. When things get hard it’s easy for your attention to get diverted from your goals. Your ability to stay focused is key to achieving results. Be clear of what you want and stick to it. Don’t settle for less and keep reminding yourself of your original goals for motivations. This can fuel your success.
