Roles & Responsibilities
Our client has an exciting opportunity working within the sales department in the commercial side of investment and trading. This dynamic business operates across the trading industry, with a sister company based in London. They are offering a hybrid opportunity working in the office and remotely 2 days a week after training is completed
Starting in the role of Sales Development Representative, following training on the company, industry, and product software, you will carry out the following duties:
Place 200+ outbound calls daily to initiate the sales process
Contacting and prequalifying potential new customers & developing and maintaining relationships
Cultivating interest in a range of products
Set appointments and follow up with leads, using CRM software to manage leads & sales activities
Stay up to date with any market trends, competition, or industry changes
Working within Account Executive’s pipelines to assist with lead regeneration
Working towards daily and monthly targets/KPI’s to achieve individual and departmental goals
Skills Required
Degree Educated
Placement year/some work experience within a sales role
Strong verbal & written communication skills, especially telephone manner
Problem solving & organisational/time management skills
Ability to build & maintain relationships with potential clients
Good understanding of technology
Ambitious & self-motivated – a desire to develop in the sales field
Flexible & adaptable to change
Familiarity with investment businesses – beneficial not essential
Full driving license is beneficial but not essential

HOURS OF WORK: 9am – 6pm 1 hour lunch
Hybrid, during initial training you will be based in the office (probably first 2 weeks) and then after that Monday-Wednesday in the office & Thursday-Friday from home
HOLIDAY: 28 days holiday including bank holidays
HIRING PROCESS:
Initial phone interview with Associate Director
Followed by a Face-to-Face interview at the client’s office with Associate Director & CEO
