Roles & Responsibilities

This exciting role is to establish contact with prospective clients and build rapport in order to successfully secure appointments for our field-based Area Manager’s to help them achieve company targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide qualified leads and appointments for our field-based Area Manager’s, to generate new business
  • To engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities in the private sector
  • To communicate knowledgably with all prospects by telephone, email and possibly face to face, building professional relationships
  • To qualify opening and match with our portfolio of services
  • To provide accurate recording onto our established database
  • To manage the company database; add new leads and, once qualified, ensure consistent contact on a timely basis.
  • To liaise closely with all Area Manager’s and provide effective territory management and appointment diaries
  • To achieve monthly personal target contributing to the overall business development team objectives

Skills Required

  • Degree educated
  • Flexible approach, highly self and team motivated with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Experience of business-to-business outbound call appointment setting preferred
  • Confident, proactive and dynamic, with a ‘can do’ attitude, enthusiastic with high levels of energy
  • Well-developed communication skills both verbal and written
  • Clear telephone manner and developed listening skills
  • Good time management
  • Team player
  • Ability to contribute effectively in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Excellent customer focus
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and email. Use of in-house databases would be an advantage.
  • Good geographical understanding of the UK

Vacancy Availability: Immediate start subject to satisfactory CRB check and references

HOLIDAY: 22 Days Holiday plus all public/bank holidays

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 9.00 – 17.30 (37.5 hours per week)
