Let’s celebrate the amazing 2025!!!!!
We have been reflecting on what has been achieved at the Graduate in 2025 – Let’s celebrate now! Over this past year we have seen some amazing candidates come through our door. We are proud to make a difference to their lives. Feels even better knowing they are also making a huge difference to our fabulous clients, seeing many people promoted and progressing.
We are already having some stand out 2026 graduates reaching out. They are keen to start their search so we are excited to see what 2026 holds. Outside of normal work we are delighted to share the following with you.
Let’s celebrate charity in 2025
We are keen to help and support as many people around us, be that through work or through charity donations. Alongside many personal donations and support given to candidates and clients who request sponsorship we have also supported the following:
- Motorcycle Club in Northamptonshire. These bikers rode out on the 29th March as a group to raise funds for a local children’s home. Their aim was to deliver as many Easter eggs as possible. Through our donations along with many others they made a real difference. Also delivering so many eggs and really brightening up the children’s Easter.
- We sponsored a group of ladies from one of our amazing clients. They stepped out of their comfort zone and did the half marathon to raise money for a cancer hospice. Finally, They managed to raise £2,790 in total. WELL DONE LADIES.
- We have continued to volunteer as a Partner for the NORTHAMPTONSHIRE Engineering Partnership, a partnership set up within the University of Northampton over thirty years ago that makes a difference to students finding their way in the world of engineering. This year we have announced the award we have sponsored “Growth Mindset Award” This is an acknowledgement given to students, for demonstrating a belief that their abilities can be developed through dedication, hard work, and learning from mistakes. Celebrating qualities like resilience, effort, and embracing challenges, and looking to award a positive behaviour and a “can-do” attitude. Furthermore, this will be awarded early in 2026 so watch out for that update next year on this.

This year we have continued to develop our relationship with many Universities up and down the country including Northampton University. We have conducted numerous webinars for students, alumni, and faculty across the year.
Most recently we have focused on webinars based around how to remain resilient throughout that all important graduate job search. With so many students undoubtedly acknowledging how challenging they have found the search we have given practical advice that will hopefully make a difference.
Additionally, We advised on CV writing, LinkedIn profiles, how to process rejection, how to self-improve while they wait to hear back from applications and to stay positive. We have had many students approach us afterward webinars asking for additional advice, which we always happy to provide.

We were delighted to be awarded “Best Graduate Recruitment consultancy 2025 East Midlands” from SME News Midlands Enterprise Awards.
Awards like this really do make us proud to be able to help graduates look in to the future and achieve their dreams.
Big Milestones
On the 3rd April we celebrated our director Christine Lawrence reaching 30 years within the recruitment sector, giving The Graduate that all important experienced leadership within the business along with many other members of our team celebrating big milestones in the sector – Let’s celebrate.
The Graduate Recruitment as a company turned 18 years old!
On the 25th November 2025 The Graduate Recruitment turned 18 years old. That is 18 years as a business guiding and directing new and experienced graduates from all over the UK. Additionally, Placing them within roles/schemes where they have developed and gained essential skills to work up the career ladder and in addition progressing in to senior roles. We do keep in touch with candidates we have worked with and are always delighted to see them really excel in their careers, adding real value to the firms they join.
