Our client is a fully modern distribution group offering highly responsive and agile logistics to help you manage seasonal and peak demands. They regularly provide same day deliveries.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Integration, migration, automation, and modifications of all IT systems.
  • Support in the tender response process for new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement client IT solutions as part of the client onboarding process.
  • Develop IT systems and processes to ensure maintenance of leading logistic service products.
  • Developing client on boarding project plans in conjunction with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and clients.
  • Establish and lead implementation meetings with suppliers, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Become the primary IT contact for all IT suppliers, including support services, WMS systems, TMS systems and IT hardware.
  • Support in the training of users on key software packages used by Our client i.e., WMS, TMS etc.
  • Become the site “superuser” in Access Delta, Roadtech and Paragon.
  • Facilitation and coaching to enable best practice programme management.
  • Taking responsibility under the direction of the Managing Director for the continued implementation of Business excellence within the function, to improve processes, capability, and compliance in line with business set targets.
  • Support cross functional improvement activities across the group, developing a high level of technical knowledge across all key functions.
  • Responsible for ensuring the best level of service is always given to both internal and external customers.
  • Solving customer queries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service/Key Account teams to implement solutions to system issues, minimise manual order entry and manual processes.
  • Strive to improve and streamline processes.
  • Actively share and promote best practices with your colleagues and the our client’s network.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships to ensure appropriate information flows and effective resolution of any issues.
  • Ensure the high level of Health, safety and welfare of self and others.
  • Keep work area clean and tidy.
  • Offer solutions and challenge suggestions enabling continuous improvement and be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
  • Able to cover a variety of different/additional tasks.
  • Perform any other reasonable request.
