Roles & Responsibilities

The Sales executive is a key position in our clients team, reporting into the Sales Manager you will focus on a geographical area. An exciting opportunity to really make this role your own and add value to the business and team you will be working with. There is an uncapped bonus available to you.

Full support will be provided to understand the processes used internally and the services available to potential clients. You can expect your day to day activity to involve:

  • researching into potential clients, collating data and determining your approach prior to making contact, utilising the CRM system
  • meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits
  • building good working relationships with prospective clients over the phone or face to face
  • understanding the needs of your business customers
  • presenting the service to decision makers
  • being an active participant in any bid/tender process to win business
  • negotiation of new contracts
  • recording sales and new contract information
  • maintaining an active pipeline
  • communicate with operations on new contracts
  • reviewing sales performance
  • negotiating contracts and packages
  • working towards monthly or annual targets.
  • Reporting to Sales Manager on progress and sales pipeline

Skills Required

  • Face to face/telephone sales experience
  • Industry experience (not essential)
  • Proven experience booking appointments and getting the buy in from clients
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to close a sale
  • Strong communicator, able to build relationships
  • Target driven and hungry for success
  • Ability to present and engage with an audience in a meeting
  • Flexible approach to work and people
  • Can do positive attitude
  • Problem solver
  • IT literate
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own diary
  • Full driving licence (no more than 3 points on licence)
  • Lives local to the Northamptonshire area
