Roles & Responsibilities

• Initial duties will involve:
• Planning/routing
• Driver debrief – excellent communication required
• Tachograph analysis
• Facilitate the transport of products from one destination to another. Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
• Receives products and coordinates delivery
• Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
• Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
• Continually reviews costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices to keep costs down where possible
• Streamlines transportation processes
• Using internal systems

Skills Required

• 2 years + proven experience as a planner within the transport/logistics sector
• Strong communicator
• Problem solving ability
• Good understanding of industry laws and regulations
• Good attention to detail
• Team player
• IT literate
• Focused and motivated
• Understands the need to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Outstanding initiative
• Excellent work ethic
• Driving licence


Four weeks plus bank holidays, after 3 years entitlement increases by 3 days, Discretionary bonus scheme.
