Roles & Responsibilities

CONTRACTS/AREAS TO MANAGE – Multi sites across the Northampton area– you will mainly focus on schools with some nurseries, offices, dentists, doctors in your area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • recruitment of cleaners for new contracts and ensuring ID is taken as part of the process
  • ensuring new employees have all relevant documentation
  • training of new starters and ongoing training for contracts
  • liaising with clients regarding any issues on site and resolving
  • providing head office with updates regarding concerns on contracts
  • contract site audits
  • carrying out health and safety checks including PAT checks are up to date
  • ensuring store cupboards are kept in good order for each site and stocks are correct
  • ordering of cleaning products on a monthly basis through head office
  • identifying opportunities for additional works on each contract liaising with head office regarding staff wages
  • attending weekly office management meetings as required

HOURS: Your hours are based around 40 per week. The sites do sometimes work across 7 days a week and it will be down to you to plan your time to ensure you manage each site effectively. Sites to include Schools, nurseries, medical and offices – most of which operate Monday to Friday but sometimes they can operate during the weekends and flexibility will be required.
