Roles & Responsibilities

If you have already developed a minimum of 12-24 months in a business/commercial b2b environment this is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career.

We are currently looking for dynamic, charismatic, reliable, and ambitious professional to join our clients new business division, working with blue chip clients. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career within this corporate structure. TRAINING/INDUCTION

OVERVIEW TO ROLE:

As a focused, dynamic professional you will start by joining and being part of the new business team division, they will provide you with the training and development you need to successfully navigate becoming a sales professional. In a real-life, challenging work setting, you will receive on and off the job training, mentoring and coaching, whilst making a recognisable contribution to the company growth plans.

Working as part of the sales and marketing team, you will develop a good understanding of the clients market. Develop your interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate effectively. This will allow you to develop a clear view of the different areas of a world-leading business. You can expect to develop your career, be that Sales or Marketing, or maybe something different altogether.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Develop new business via client visits, research and intelligence sales techniques
  • Maintain strengthen and develop key customer relationships.
  • To regularly visit customers at their premises to initiate and progress projects.
  • To manage the development of client projects from the customer through the relevant internal departments.
  • Working with internal departments to facilitate the approval process between the retailer and the client
  • Provide additional market support to the Management where required.

Skills Required

  • A 2:1 degree or above in any discipline within the last 3 years
  • 18 months + commercial, sales, marketing b2b experience
  • The ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels of the business
  • Commercially aware with proven b2b experience
  • Adaptability for working independently and as part of the team
  • Initiative and determination to succeed in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • A desire to learn, develop and challenge yourself in a demanding and dynamic workplace
  • Mature approach, ambitious and driven
  • A full UK/EU driving licence
  • To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis
  • IT literate – M.S. Office programs
  • Analytical and ability to handle complexity
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and project management skills
  • Happy to travel to visit client premises
  • Proven work experience where you can demonstrate you have communicated with a range of customers and managed problems

CORE HOURS OF WORK: Mon – Thu: 9.am-5.00pm Friday 9.00am – 4.45pm

HOLIDAY: 25 days plus bank holidays – Fixed period (normally 3 or 4 days) to be taken at Christmas

 SALARY:  Competitive – Doe + company car. staged increases following targets set/met.
