Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is currently recruiting for an ambitious Marketing Executive to join the growing team. Your role is to execute elements of the marketing strategy, in particular the generation of high-quality content for the website and other platforms. The content will aim to increase lead generation, brand awareness and support the overall business vision.

Create and successfully drive awareness of the company and offering through effective marketing campaigns across a variety of channels

  • Responsible for creating content (blogs, ebooks, factsheets, video, etc) on a regular basis, in line with the content calendar
  • Ensure all content produced is in line with company keyword strategy
  • Apply search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques, to drive organic traffic
  • Regularly update existing marketing collateral
  • Support on the production of client case studies
  • Engage with the technical team to produce relevant and consistent content
  • Support the Marketing Manager with ideation for the content calendar, researching new topics and product news
  • Support with building the company’s online presence across relevant social media channels
  • Keep up to date with current digital trends and changes in the marketing/SEO space
  • Support the Marketing Manager with the development and execution of new strategies
  • Curate newsletters and other email marketing communications and campaigns
  • Conduct regular competitor research
  • Upload content into the CMS Marketing Executive

Skills Required

  • 2:1+ Relevant degree and some experience in a marketing setting – placement, internship or full time, ideally gained within the B2B or technology sector
  • Excellent written skills with strong copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills
  • Ability to convey technical subjects in a clear narrative for a range of target markets, consistent with the company’s tone of voice
  • Strong research skills and ability to apply the findings effectively
  • Highly organised with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • Enjoys working as part of a team, but is also proactive, able to use own initiative and work without close supervision
  • Independent and driven, wants to learn new skills and software
  • Ability to think strategically and commercially, spotting new content opportunities and delivering to project goals
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with Canva (preferred but not essential) You will be part of a fast-paced Microsoft Gold Partner at an exciting period in our growth.
