Roles & Responsibilities


You will receive an intense and thorough training and development program to gain a full understanding of the products, the client base and be supported to achieve. During the development programme, you will work on key projects whilst receiving mentoring to ensure you grasp all the tools and knowledge necessary to build a successful career.

Once fully trained you will also be responsible for:

  • Going out to visit clients on site to demonstrate what the software can offer and developing relationships and following up afterwards
  • Contacting clients to invite them to events such as breakfast seminars and exhibitions
  • Prepare quotations in consultation with the Sales Manager
  • Maintain a record of leads and pending orders
  • Attend exhibitions to provide demonstrations and maintain the presence of the business
  • Determine a contact strategy with key schools and colleges for customer care visits to assist in building relationships
  • Lead a proportion of the breakfast seminars during the year
  • Manage a territory and determine a contact strategy for visits in order to build relationships, develop new sales and achieve targets

Skills Required

This is the perfect opportunity for a commercially focused graduate with a passion for the Education sector, who wants to make a difference in the world of education and feel proud of the company they represent. This would also be ideal for a candidate who has followed a teaching path at university and has now decided they would prefer to move into a commercial role.

  • Degree – minimum 2:2
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels including ability to build relationships
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • High levels of enthusiasm, energy and determination
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Confident in all aspects of IT
  • A confident driver with a full driving licence and willing to travel to visit clients
  • An understanding of how the classroom works would be advantageous
