A new development role exists for a dynamic, ambitious graduate to join this global firm and join the Commercial Division.
Learning will mostly be on the job with expert help and support on hand, enhanced by a number of specific training courses on internal systems, sales and commercial know-how.
You will work as part of a team, so your contributions will have a big impact right from the outset. The ideal graduate will be willing to learn from the bottom up and will be personally motivated to progress their career in a commercial environment longer term.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will work with key stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Service, Design and Operations to analyse, cost and implement new business opportunities and ensure we generate the best commercial options possible.
This is a busy role, and one that requires excellent numeracy and analytical skills, combined with the ability to manage multiple business priorities. You should be comfortable using computer systems to input, monitor, extract and interpret data, and be able to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Primary responsibilities include:
HOLIDAYS/BENEFITS: 25 days plus bank holidays some days needing to be taken at Xmas Pension scheme and an employee assistance programme. There are a range of opportunities for professional and personal development dependent on the graduate.
SALARY/DEVELOPMENT: £25,000 with progression in terms of salary and role. They are looking at this role as a development role into their wider Commercial community. Ideally, they are looking for someone who wants a career in the commercial arena and who would learn the business over a 2–3-year period but who would then progress into Commercial Management roles.
CORE HOURS OF WORK: Monday – Friday, 9 to 5pm with a 30 mins lunch break. They are working through hybrid working options although for the first 3-6 months of the role they would definitely see this being site based.
