Roles & Responsibilities


To establish contact with prospective clients and build rapport in order to successfully secure appointments for their field-based area managers to help them achieve company targets.

  • To provide qualified leads and book appointments for the field-based area Managers to generate new business
  • To engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities in the private sector
  • To speak positively and enthusiastically about the business and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues
  • To communicate courteously with all customers by telephone, email and face to face, building positive relationships
  • To build effective relationships with potential clients by use of appropriate questioning and clarification
  • To identify and qualify opportunities for introducing products and services to generate new business
  • To support the business by providing professional and effective services to all potential and existing customers, to exceed client expectations every time
  • To liaise closely with the area managers to provide effective territory management of appointment diaries
  • To provide accurate recording onto the database system
  • To provide support and assistance as and when required by the Company Management Team
  • To achieve a monthly personal target contributing to the overall Telemarketing team target
  • Liaising with internal departments and supporting our colleagues, providing back-up to the Customer Service Team when required, ensuring that all incoming telephone calls are answered within our 3-ring policy

Skills Required

  • Degree educated
  • Flexible approach, highly self and team motivated with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Minimum of 6 months outbound business to business telemarketing experience
  • Confident, proactive and dynamic, with a can-do attitude, enthusiastic with high level of energy
  • Well-developed communication skills both verbal and written
  • Clear telephone manner and clear listening skills
  • Good time management
  • Team player
  • Demonstrates drive and positive approach to work and a determination and motivation to achieve targets
  • Ability to contribute effectively in a fast paced, changing environment
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and email
  • Excellent customer focus
  • Good geographical understanding of the UK
