Roles & Responsibilities

This role is offered as remote working with occasional client visits required throughout the year to meet the needs to client campaigns and the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an SEO professional to take responsibility for the management of marketing campaigns, with a focus on Content Writing, SEO and CRO.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of your client accounts and campaigns. Strong interpersonal skills are also important as the role involves communicating with clients on a regular basis through emails, phone calls and face to face meetings at client locations around the country.

Training from Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising account managers and SEO training from the companies Managing Director, who helped to write Google’s Webmaster Guidelines, can be provided to support your development in this role.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating, implementing and monitoring digital marketing campaigns to deliver the best results for clients
  • Implementing SEO strategies to grow organic performance
  • Content creation for both the company and their clients
  • Monitoring success levels using tools such as Google Analytics tools and client data
  • Managing client relationships through regular email, phone and face-to-face communication
  • Providing regular performance reporting to clients on a weekly and monthly basis, as required

Software’s commonly used with this client:

  • Google Suite, inc: Gmail, Calendar, AdWords, Google Docs/Pages/Sheets
  • Project Management – Asana, sometimes Trello
  • SEO Tools – SEMRush, Moz
  • Websites – Drupal, Magento, some Shopify & WordPress

Skills Required

  • Must have completed a FULL placement year in SEO/Digital Marketing and have some examples of some work
  • Minimum of 2 years’ SEO experience in a business environment
  • Desire to provide an excellent service to clients
  • Content writing experience in a marketing setting
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as comfort with software packages generally
  • Process orientated individual with high attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn – a desire to improve and expand your knowledge and skills is essential. Google Training accreditations are advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, a real self-starter and all-rounder
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for occasional meetings
