Roles & Responsibilities

The role will involve working with the wider PPC team on the management and optimisation of the PPC campaigns for our growing client base.

You will be monitoring and reporting on performance against targets, and optimising PPC campaigns to meet clients’ goals and targets. Working with the wider team you will be executing  the PPC strategy, as laid out by them, to deliver the best results for our clients.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year’s PPC experience, including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, ideally gained within an agency environment.

Although PPC-focused, the role will encompass other aspects of digital marketing including CRO, SEO and social, to deliver the best results for clients.

The role will involve communicating with clients on a regular basis through emails, phone calls and face-to-face meetings. The successful candidate will therefore have strong interpersonal skills          and previous experience of client management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns
  • Reviewing performance against targets using industry tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Managing client relationships through regular email, phone and face-to-face communication
  • Ensuring client’s PPC budgets are managed effectively and efficiently
  • Providing regular reporting to clients on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Providing landing page and CRO recommendations to improve campaign performance
  • Devising and implementing A/B and / or multivariate testing for clients to improve campaign performance
  • Identifying PPC opportunities for clients based on their business goals and presenting these both internally and externally

Skills Required

  • Degree relevant to role and a minimum of one year’s PPC experience, including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, ideally gained within an agency environment
  • Google Ads accreditations are advantageous but not essential
  • Understanding of SEO, CRO, email and / or social media marketing would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and the Google Suite (e.g. Google Sheets)
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, a real self-starter and all-rounder
  • Process orientated individual with high attention to detail
